500+ tools (programs/apps) for windows command line
Description
This is a collection of a bunch of Windows Command Line (CLI) win32 and 16bit programs. This has literally every type of command line tool for windows you will ever need. Some people call this DOS and while it is similar, its not DOS. Windows command line can be accessed by pressing Start > Run > cmd.exe and most of the tools have their own help files, use the command line switch /? or --help for usage instructions. Search this help document for keywords of the type of program you want.
Updates: fixed all non working programs, added preinstaller required for the poof pack, added all help files, added 50-100 new programs
INSTALLATION
Use your own extractor, or run extract-here.bat to uncompress all files and folders
Simple:
Copy the .exe you want to use into your c:Windows directory (or whatever yours is), and it will work just by typing the exe name in windows command line.
Advanced:
Copy all of the exe files to a folder inside your windows dir (c:windowscliapps) and add that directory to your PATH varible.
Optional: CmdHerePowertoySetup.exe adds an option to the right click menu in explorer to open a command prompt at the current folder. Made by microsoft.
Note: To run the Poof tools package, you must run the preinstaller in the root dir.
