So, you have to download the Chinese installer from the link here: . After installing the Chinese version, if you want to switch to English interface, you have to first turn off or disable Kaspersky Self-Defense.
To disable Kaspersky Self-Defence, right-click on the Kaspersky tray icon at notification area and select the seventh option to open KIS 2011 Settings window.
Out of the four icon buttons present in the top-left corner of settings, click on the last icon (that looks like a box/package). Now, from the left-sidebar, select the second menu item. Then, in the right-sidebar, deselect the first check-box to disable the Self-Defense in Kaspersky Internet Security 2011.
Open registry editor and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\protected\AVP11\environment\ and change the SkinSwitchDisabled value from 1 to 0. Now, open Kaspersky Internet Security 2011 program, press [ Shift ] + [ F12 ] to instantly switch the language from Chinese to English.
Update: We have found that if we are using the above method, KIS 2011 user interface reverts back to Chinese language after restart, so to permanently change the language to English, use the following method:
Open registry editor and navigate to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\KasperskyLab\protected\AVP11\environment\ and change the Localization value to en
